The foundation was born from a simple family conviction: that the land we inherit is not ours to keep, but ours to care for. Rooted in the memory of Pepito and Feleciana Etcuban, the work began with a coconut plantation in Leyte that was rehabilitated after Typhoon Yolanda and has since grown into forests, farms, and a community arboretum.
Today, the PF Etcuban Foundation brings together entrepreneurs, scientists, educators, lawyers, and activists around one shared mission: to protect, foster, and educate. We believe that real change is local, long-term, and led by the people who live closest to the land.
From the hills of Tagbubunga to the reefs off Villaba's coast, we are building something meant to last. A living example of what it looks like when a community decides to heal its home.
